The House of Representatives has invited the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, over alleged bribery by controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye alias Bobrisky.
The Joint Committee of the House of Representatives also invited the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Halilu Nababa, for questioning on the matter.
The lawmakers had earlier invited Bobrisky and a blogger, Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan, to explain what happened between when Bobrisky was convicted by a Lagos State special offenses court for misusing the naira and when he was acquitted.
Bobrisky, who was released from prison a few weeks ago, in a video featured by VeryDarkMan alleged that some EFCC officials demanded ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges against him.

He also claimed in the same video that some NCoS officials allowed him to serve his prison sentence at a private residence instead of a correctional facility after the money changed hands.
The controversial figure denied the allegations and deleted all his posts on social media, while the EFCC boss has formed a team of investigators to investigate the allegations.
The Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) on Thursday suspended four senior NCoS officials over the matter.
In a letter dated September 27, the committee ordered the EFCC chairman and NCoS boss to appear on Monday along with all the officers named by the cross-dresser.
