English Premier League side Nottingham Forest are working out the details of terminating the contract of Nigerian international striker Emmanuel Dennis, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Dennis is not in coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans, which has led to his exclusion from the list of players registered for the season. The idea was to send him on another loan deal, which will be his third since joining the club two summers ago.
However, he did not consider any of the offers that came his way to be suitable enough for him, and with the transfer window no longer open in Europe’s key leagues, the club are working to let him leave for free.
The idea is that they terminate his contract for mutual reasons, leaving him free to join any club, while also deducting his salary from their wage bill for the season. He has already been relegated to the youth team, where he is currently keeping fit.
A deal is not close, but all parties are open to terminating the deal, with Dennis interested in resuming his career, preferably in England, where he is reputed to score 11 goals in his debut season with Watford in the English Premier League. three seasons ago it continues to open doors of offers.
