The Minister of Foreign Affairs, the ambassador Yusuf Tuggar has ensured the Nigerians the commitment of the federal government to safeguard the rights of land by increasing agricultural productivity.
On Sunday he gave this certainty to farmers and udobic pastors, in the area of ββthe local government of Gamawa in the state of Bauchi, during a commitment from the community in the historic agricultural city.
He outlined the plans of President Bola Tinubu to fight food insecurity through the rural empowerment, agriculture led by science and climatic resilient infrastructures.
The minister who complained that, although Udubo was a center of the agricultural production of Nigeria between the 1960s and 1970s, but the story changed because the community had been largely overlooked by the state government for decades while flooding and climate change continue to have an impact on life and collection, however, stating that thanks to the urgent support of the federal government it has started to improve.

Tugar detailed the strategy of President Tinubu for Udobus and similar communities by promising to protect the lands of the farmers.
He promised that: βNobody will lose their land. Grow what you eat first; We will help you sell the surplus. “
The minister also added that with the support of the National Agency for scientific and engineering infrastructures (Nasens), the Federal Government will optimize access to water through the wetlands of Udobic Fadama and introduce lost instruments for climate that help to optimize agricultural production and further influence the life of the community.
The minister also revealed the various measures that he adopted as Minister of Foreign Affairs to help the victims of the flood last year who devastated many communities in the local government that included the Udubian community.
Following devastating floods, Ecowas – secreted through the diplomatic efforts of Tuggar – and federal agencies will finance resilient infrastructures.
Hajiya Aisha, one of the beneficiaries of the support thanked the ambassador Tuggar for not having abandoned them. He said the community was neglected by the state for decades without any tangible measure to help them fight the climate change that worsen floods.

The youth leader Musa Adamu Udubo urged the minister to curb urban migration by increasing support for farmers.
