Gunmen masked by EFCC agents kidnap 10 people in the hotel in the state of the Niger

Unidentified armed men disguised by agents of the Commission for economic and financial crimes (EFCC) have kidnapped 10 people from the White Hill Hotel on Shiroro Road, in the area of ​​the local government of Chachaga in the state of the Niger.

Intelligence sources, according to Zagazola Makama, said that the accident occurred around 4:58 am on Tuesday 27 February 2025.

According to reports, armed men stormed the hotel, claiming to be EFCC staff in an official operation.

The suspicions have been collected that disabled the hotel CCTV cameras before entering the guest rooms one by one and forcefully bringing 10 people to an unknown destination.

The assistant police commissioner, department of state intelligence (AUPPOL SID), confirmed that investigations were underway to identify the authors and identify the kidnapped victims.

The members of the public were invited to remain vigilant and report suspicious movements.

The commissioner said that the efforts were intensified to reveal those behind the attack.
