The police save two dogs kidnapped for over $ 1 million redemption

The Swiss police said on Saturday that he had solved a kidnapping involving two dogs and a request for redemption of 1 million Swiss francs (about $ 1.135 million).

The Zurich police said two Bolonka dogs were stolen from the house of a 59 -year -old man in Schlieren near Zurich last week, while the owner of the dog was absent.

When the man returned, the dogs left and found a letter asking for money to free the small dogs.

Instead of paying the redemption, the man, who was not identified by name in line with the rules of Swiss privacy, called the police.

During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 -year -old Norwegian man at the Zurich airport that the police said he was strongly suspected of being involved in the theft.

Following further leads and transversal cooperation, the police in Poland then arrested a 38 -year -old suspicion and discovered the kidnapped Bolonka, who returned safely to their owner on Friday.

The Swiss police said that Norwegian is in custody in Switzerland and the authorities in Poland are further investigating the Polish suspicion.

A Bolonka is a toy breed of dogs raised in Russia and sold up to a couple of thousands of dollars.
