Orders the Court of Otudeko’s appearance for the process

Oba Otudeko

The High Federal Court sitting in Lagos ordered the founder and president of the Honeywell group, Oba Otudeko, to appeal to the accusations presented against him.

The judge chair, judge Chukwujekwu aneke, made the statement on Monday 17 March 2025.

The commission for economic and financial crimes (EFCC) had presented a charge of 13 counts against Otudeko and three others for an alleged loan fraud of N30 billion.

At the hearing of Monday’s question, judge Aneke said that Otudeko, a former president of FBN Holdings, must submit his reason before a question that disputes the jurisdiction of the court on the case can be decided.

Subsequently, the judge postponed the case to 8 May 2025.
