Varsity transport implements equal opportunities for all Africans – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

Deputy Chancellor of the Federal University of Transportation Daura, Prof. Umar Adam Katsayal, says that the University has started making efforts to increase his visibility among African countries by offering equal opportunities for everyone and various to study at the university.

The VC declared it while presented a document, on Saturday, entitled “Sustainable Transportation Education: a Pathway to Africa Green Economy”, at the 3rd Summit Education Africa in Corso Zimbabwe, which took place at Elephant Hills Hotel, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

This is contained in a declaration signed by the Chief Information and Communications Officer of the University, Umar Usman, released to Gusau journalists.

The declaration observed that the summit is a consolidated initiative aimed at providing the African continent with its future desired leaders.

“At the end of the summit it should also serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, strategic partnerships and a united effort to progress educational excellence throughout Africa,” he said.

Prof. Kachayal has showed off the specialized nature of the University in the state of Daura Katsina and the courses that the University offers being the first of its kind in Africa so that African countries can be informed of the opportunities provided by the University to their advantages.

The president of Zimbabwen, dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, in a key speech he invited the delegates to hit the discussion on innovation and promote articulated ideas that would move Africa from the Africans themselves.

“The summit must find offers that will allow development of development throughout the African continent by the African and reshape our educational system to exploit our young people for improving Africa,” he said.

The president also invited delegates to work in concertedly to convert our schools into incubators of innovators to create jobs not only to speak English, a language that their ancestors did not speak.

He said that the current African leaders are ready to give all the supports necessary for African children who collaborate in education and good life.
