EFCC captures 15 alleged internet fraudsters in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has arrested 15 alleged internet fraudsters in Lagos.

The Commission confirmed this in the post that was shared in the verified X grip, @officialeFCC, on Friday.

The suspects were arrested on Friday at Maple and Jand Court, Royal Pine Estate, Orchid Road, and the Lekki area in the state.

The post reads: “They were arrested during the sting operation on April 25, 2025, following the credible intelligence about their alleged involvement in activities related to the internet.

“Items are restored from them at the point of arrest including mobile phones, laptop computers, and cars.

“The suspects will be charged in court as soon as the investigation is complete.”
