The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated the US dollar on the official market on Friday.
Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira declined to N1, 602.18/$ 1 compared to N1.596.68/$ 1 which was traded on Wednesday.
This represents the loss of N5.50 for local currencies.
In the black market, Naira obtained an N2 against the dollar to trade at N1.608/$ 1 compared to the previous day level N1, 610/$ 1.

Naira obtained N5 against British pounds to trade at N2.125/£ 1 compared to the previous N2.130/£ 1.
Canadian dollars still survive stable at N1.150/Ca $ 1.
Naira obtained N5 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,795/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
