Ekong, Nwabali Out-Simon Tops List of foreigners based on the friendly Super Eagles game in England

The chief coach of the national senior team of Nigeria Eric Chelle has prepared the list of players who will represent Nigeria in the next friendly tournament in England, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.

Super Eagles will play in the four -team tournament called The Unity Cup, where they will face Ghana on May 28, before playing the winner in the other game that will be Trinidad and Tobago against Jamaica.

The game falls out of the window approved by the world FIFA football governing body for international games, and also coincides with some leagues where established players of the Super Eagles play.

However, some players like Moses Simon on the French side Nantes will be available with the French Ligue 1 that ends on May 17. Ten days before the start of the tournament.

We can also inform that players like Stanley Nwabali, William Troost-Ekong and Maduka Okoye did not appear, in addition to the duo of Adela Lookman and Victor Osimhen, whom we reported previously will not be in the team due to the club’s commitments.

Other foreign players such as Frank Onyaka, Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella, who play in Germany, are expected to be named in the team, while players based in England will confirm their availability or not later this week.
