Nigerian social media space has been severe with a variety of reactions after the Founder of the Love World Assembly, known as the Embassy of Christ, Father Chris Oyakhilome, aroused other controversies after he told his members to ignore the advice of medical doctors to salt consumption.
Oyakhilome who gave instructions while preaching a sermon at his Lagos Church on Sunday, told his congregation that instead of away from too much salt consumption which according to medical practitioners was dangerous to health, they would rather take more salt because the item was good for their bodies.
During the sermon, the pastor who had in the past, aroused a serious controversy because of his opposite opinion about medical and scientific problems, supported his attitude by playing some documentary films to those who showed where white doctors condemned the claim that salt is good for the body.
He, however, argues that many people suffer from stroke and other diseases because they listen to their doctor’s advice not to take salt.
He stressed that salt is actually a final medicine that can cure all kinds of diseases because it was approved by Jesus Christ in one of his sermons where he said people were salt of the earth.
“Many suffer from a stroke and other diseases because they listen to their doctor’s advice not to take salt. You need salt,” said Father Oyakhilome with emphasis.
” We listen to what is called professional and many die listening to them. Think about how many people suffer from blows and all kinds of diseases because they listen to their doctor.

“Think about how many people are afraid of salt. In fact they have removed salt from their food.
“You have to tell other people. You need salt; more salt than less salt. Everyone is sick in the hospital, they give them salt but they don’t know. They pack them back and sell it to you in various forms.”
He told how God used salt to heal people, quote the Bible, Mark 9: 50 where Jesus said, “Salt is good and that people must have salt and have peace with each other.”
The flamboyant man then tells his members that instead of depends on what is said to be medical science, they better speak in the language of the Spirit and they will get a solution to all their problems.
“I also think so, but this is why I speak to you about praying in the language of the Spirit. From praying in the language of the Spirit, the Spirit of God speaks and guides me. I speak in the language of the Spirit and the solution to come.
The message has triggered an online conversation with some Nigerians who agree with him while others argue that such a message can cause a medical crisis because some people might ignore their doctor’s advice and start to take too much salt.
This is not the first time Father Chris has aroused such controversy because of his opposite attitude in terms of medical problems.
During Pandemi Covid-19, he had warned his members not to take a vaccine that saved lives, with the reason that it was a tactic by the West to empty the African people. He also associated the death of Pope Francis recently with the Covid-19 vaccine which he said was given intentionally to the Pope to kill him.
Father Chris was also in the past, taking problems with the help of American billionaire malaria intervention Bill Gates to African countries, urged its members not to allow themselves to be inoculated when Gates played a script by America to kill Africans.
