‘Very dark man’s car, the telephone confiscated by EFCC

Deji Adeyanju, a lawyer representing social media critics Martins Vincent Otse, aka very dark people, has revealed that his client’s car and telephone have been confiscated by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

Legal advisors who make revelation in the post distributed on page X official (previously Twitter) also added that very dark people were released without any conditions that were attached to their guarantees.

“Apart from everything that has happened, I still like the Chair of the EFCC. And there are no requirements for VDM guarantees. I am the person who filed a guarantee, and I made an effort to produce it whenever he needed. The telephone and his car were still with EFCC.” Write Adeyanju.

This development occurred after EFCC revealed the reasons behind the detention of very dark people, whose arrests continued to produce hot discussions online, for various reasons that have not been confirmed for their detention have been circulating.

The Anti-Corruption Agency informed a statement through X on Tuesday that VDM was detained after many petitions from anonymous parties accused him of “financial deviations.”

According to the Anti-Correction Commission, he was finally arrested because he consistently ignored the invitation given through a familiar method.

Post EFCC about X reads, “The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, in the implementation of its mandate to overcome economic and financial crimes, invited innocent Martins due to a series of petitions bordering the problems suspected of financial crimes raised against him,” said the post.

“He refused to appear regardless of several invitations sent to him through the address and communication media known.

“Petitions are related to the great accusations of financial deviations that cannot be ignored by the commission.

“It is necessary to recognize that the commission knows some suspects’ attacks that are not guarded on their operations.

“While such behaviors can be cursed, their arrests are not told by such attacks. Relevant law enforcement agencies will be allowed to examine it.”
