Naira continued his appreciation of the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, continued her appreciation for the US dollar on the official market on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

According to Nigerian Central Bank data (CBN), Naira appreciated N1, 596.70/$ 1 compared to N1, 600.03/$ 1 which was traded on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

This represents the profit N4.67 for local currencies.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded in N1.635/$ 1 is the same as the previous day level N1, 635/$ 1.

Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2.180/£ 1 is the same as the previous day level N2.180/£ 1.

Canadian dollars still survive stable at N1.150/Ca $ 1, the same as the previous day level N1.150/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained N5 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,830/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,835/€ 1.
