The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has rejected the statements that suggest that it is destined to defect with the sentence of all the progressives of the congress (APC) or any other political party.
In a shared declaration on his official X, @kwankwasorm, the former governor of the State of Kano has described relations as built -up factory aimed at disadvging the public and arousing political confusion.
Kwankwaso refuted the relationships claiming to have met the president Bola Tinubu several times and was taking into consideration a return to the APC.
He also renounced a declaration attributed to an Ibrahim Rabiu, who claimed to reflect his political position.
“My attention was attracted by a declaration presumably by affirming my position on the recurrent political realmaders.
“I would like to categorically declare that these statements are false, unfounded and products of political malice,” said Kwankwaso.
He reiterated that he had chosen to keep silent about current political events and will continue to do so for now.
He also urged the public to rely only on the information released through his verified channels.
In a related development, Ibrahim Rabiu, author of the false declaration, withdrew his comments and issued public excuses.
“I, Ibrahim Rabiu, wish to inform the general public that I have never been authorized by Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso to issue and release a declaration on his account,” he wrote.
“I apologize sincerely for my actions and I promise to never repeat such a childish act. I was deceived by false news and uninformation agents.”
Kwankwaso urged the public to ignore false statements and remain vigilant against disinformation.
