Tinubu’s Aide accused the Nigerians the price of hiking goods to make the government look bad

Top Fasua, a special advisor to economic affairs to the President of the Tinubu Soccer, accused the Nigerians of deliberately climbing the price of goods and services to make the current government look bad.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Fasua insisted that the level of inflation of Nigeria was not as bad as described by the opposition politicians who were determined to present governance in bad light.

The President’s aide said he was moved to react to a social media post where a gas station in Maitama, Abuja, still paid N10,000 pump officers per month despite economic difficulties.

“I have been going on for the past three months because I know Nigeria. Inflation culminates in 34.8 percent because everyone has raised the price of everything,” wrote Fasua, a famous economist, wrote.

“I continued to insist on that day that our inflation was encouraged by other strengths that were different from orthodoxy … Things -things that Adam Smith and Classic might not imagine.

“Prices increase based on desires. Sometimes it increases because it will make the government look bad.

“Emotions are better than many Nigerians. But apart from price increases, I am sure that the lowest and most vulnerable Nigerians will suffer.”

He also condemned Nigerian businessmen who had not raised their staff salaries despite a review of the national minimum wage.

“No one is called an entrepreneur to pay any staff at the same level as 2 years ago just because they cannot protest or do not have a voice on social media. More than this situation must be shown wherever they exist.

“I mean, those who have been deunized for a long time. I took the struggle. NLC controlled almost 6% of the labor market. Even the NBS figure said that 82% of Nigerians worked in an unstructured environment. Of the remaining 18%, almost half of them in association.

“The rest work in banks and private sector entities which has since been forgotten about trade unions. I think trade unions do have their own uses because of their advocacy. But NLC and TUC have never talked about those who do not pay contributions.

“In places such as German Union advocacy has ensured that factory workers are members of the Law Council at the conglomerate.

“In Nigeria, we unfortunately have installed permanent obstacles for such innovations. However, the struggle continues. Not only the state government must be reminded that the minimum wage law binds them and that the first fee for their income is the salary of workers under their summary, but also every private sector, including households that employ boys and households.

“It’s not enough to hide under the federal government and accuse Tinubu whose reforms are really opening space to ensure that Nigerians live better.

“This is the last mile in the reform; to ensure that the average Nigerians are not used as cannon feed but cruel pseudo capitalists, many of them produce countless money as a result of reform,” Fasua concluded.
