APC Debunks PDP accusations – Theconclaveng

The sentence of all the progressives of the congress, APC, in the state of wave, asked the chapter of the state of the Democratic Party of people, PDP, to stop spreading lies.

In a Sunday declaration, entitled “APC urges the PDP to concentrate on internal issues rather than spreading the disinformation”, and signed by Steve Otaloro, director, Media & Publicny, the party has declared: “The Congress All Progressives, the chapter of Ondo State, categorically denies the unfounded accusations made by the Democratic Party of people (PDP) in their recent pressure declaration.

“It is evident that the PDP is resorting to a desperate attempt to regain relevance by making statements that have no basis in fact.

“From the victorious election of the Governorate won by our party, the PDP emerged as a vocal antagonist, apparently more interested in creating discord than to offer constructive criticisms.

“While we generally refrain from involving the guilt of the parts of the opposition, it has become necessary to clarify the truth for the public, which deserves to be informed about the misleading narratives of the PDP.

“Firstly, we would like to emphasize that all the projects started under the previous administration of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akerdolu are receiving the attention they deserve.

“Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa considers the administration passed as its extension, since he worked as deputy governor during that period.

“Therefore, it is not senseless for the PDP to suggest that the governor Aiyedatiwa would undermine the legacy he helped to build by neglecting the ongoing projects.

“In fact, the governor Aiyedatiwa recently commissioned several road projects and infrastructure developments, including the Oda road and its extensions, which were fundamentally thrown by the deceased governor Akerdol.

“These actions reflect our commitment to continuity and progress, rather than the abandonment of vital projects.
It is ironic that the PDP, a party that tried to overturn the mandate of the people granted to the governor Aiyedatiwa during the elections of the governor of 16 November 2024, but fired to the court, now resorts to a disinformation campaign.

“Their attempts to discredit the governor through propaganda without foundation are not only misleading, but also reflect their internal struggles and the drop in relevance.

“We encourage the PDP to focus on facing the challenges within their party, which has seen significant defections, including that of the governors sitting, rather than inventing lies to mislead the public. The time has come to engage in a significant dialogue and contribute positively to the development of the state of wave.

“In conclusion, the APC is stopped in its commitment to the people of the State of Ondo and will continue to give priority to the completion of all the projects for the benefit of our citizens. We urge the PDP to abandon their division tactics and combine us in working for a brighter future for everyone.”
