Naira posted N13 to get a dollar in an official window

Nigeria’s currency, Naira, posted a strong appearance on the US dollar on Tuesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1.540.04/$ 1 compared to N1, 553.11/$ 1 which was traded last Thursday.

This is the advantage of the N13.07 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira was again closed flat against the dollar to be traded at N1.615/$ 1.

Naira lost the N20 to the British pound to trade at N2.180/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.160/£ 1.

Naira continued to close flat with Canadian dollars at N1.220/Ca $ 1.

Local currency lost N5 to Euro to be traded in ₦ 1,805/€ 1 compared to ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
