Russia has handed over 1,200 bodies of soldiers who fell into Ukraine.
Ukraine authorities said on Friday, following the night of the Russian drone attack.
“The attack, the second occurred this week, was mediated by the international red cross,” the staff responsible for the problem of prisoners of war in Kiev said.
On Wednesday, Ukraine received 1,212 troops and handed over 27 bodies to Moscow in return.
During direct negotiations in Istanbul at the beginning of the month, the warring parties approved the return of the remaining more than 6,000 troops that fell from Russia to Ukraine.
The initial exchange was expected last weekend, but stopped due to lack of coordination between the two countries.
Friday attacks followed other waves of Russian drone attacks last night in East Ukraine, with combat drone bomb areas around Sumy and Donetsk, Ukraine Air Force said.
The warning of air strikes was heard in East Ukraine, said the authorities.
Ukraine has defended herself against the full scale Russian invasion for more than three years.
