Arrest the managers of killing! NGS in Benue, Tinubu orders IGP, other security garments

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ordered the nation’s security heads and the police inspector, Kayode Egbetokun to arrest the managers of the recent wave of murders in Benue’s state.

On Wednesday he gave the directive during a visit to Makurdi, the capital of Benue’s state, following renewed mortal attacks in the central-northern state.

“The police, I hope your men are on alert to listen to the information. How has no arrest has been made? I expect that there should be an arrest of those criminals,” said Tinubu during a meeting of the parties concerned at the Benue Government House.

Advertising the observations to the best brass of the military community and intelligence further, added the president:

“Christopher (the head of the defense staff), you have given a lot. I look at your comments, you cannot be tired of staying in the bush. Oloyede and the aerial marshal, we thank you all, but we have to keep our ears on the ground, take those criminals, let them go out.

“DG Nia, DG SSS, reorganizes your information channels and we have a tangible intelligence so that this no longer occurs.”
