8th Chan: the Super Eagles of Nigeria Know Group Match Seats

2018 Silver-Medallists Nigeria will play the games of the group B of the eighth African nations in Zanzibar, a Tanzanian archipelago off the coast of Eastern Africa. It is an island of less than two million people. Nigeria is in group B with the owners of the Senegal, Congo and Sudan Cup.

Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, the three nations of Eastern Africa which were jointly assigned to the Hosting right for the finals of the Africa Nations Cup of 2027, were commissioned to host the African nations championship this year as an adequate test of the dress.

The tournament will be staged from 2 to 30 August.

According to an announcement of the African football confederation on Thursday, the opening match of the tournament will take place at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar Es Salaam (continental Tanzania), while the third and fourth game will be held at Mandela Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.

The final game, Saturday 30 August, will be played at the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani in the capital of Kenya, Nairobi.

With the defenestration of the Equatorial Guinea from the tournament following a sentence of the CAF’s appeals committee, the Congo was restored to the Nigeria B group.

The Super Eagles B, who were also bronze medallists in South Africa in 2014, qualified for this year’s finals after an aggregate defeat 3-1 of Ghana in their qualifying match in December last year.

Group A: Kenya, Morocco, Angola, Dr Congo, Zambia (Nairobi)

Group B: Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Republic of Central Africa (Dar Es Salaam)

Group C: Uganda, Niger, Guinea, South Africa, Algeria (Kampala)

Group D: Senegal, Congo, Sudan, Nigeria (Zanzibar)
