Alia suspends helper for alleged sexual exploitation, cyberbullying

Benue’s governor Hyacinth has suspended his special consultant for documentation, research and planning, dr. Mkor Aondona.

This is contained in a declaration by his main press secretary, Mr. Tersoo Kula, in Makurdi.

The news agency of Nigeria (Nan) reports that ADONONGONA was arrested by the Commission for economic and financial crimes (EFCC) on Friday 20 June, for alleged sixth, cyberbullying and blackmail.

Alia in the declaration, he said that the decision is in line with his unwavering commitment to support integrity, discipline and responsibility in public service.

He said that any official of his administration has found the desire for crime or misconduct non -ethical conduct should face the entire weight of the law.

He assured the public that the law would follow his complete course without interference or prejudices, adding that his administration would not tolerate any law that brings the government in the absence or undermines the trust of the public.

The governor stressed that a public load was a call to serve with honor, transparency and responsibility, and anyone who deviated from this path would not have placed in his government.

The suspended assistant is expected to fully submit to the legal process to respond to the serious accusations made against him.

The declaration also indicated that the administration of the Governor Alia was committed to protecting the rights and dignity of all citizens, in particular women and vulnerable groups, and would have continued to collaborate with the police to ensure that justice had served. (Nan)
