Naira spilled N1.18 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, declined against the US dollar in an official window on Monday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 548.52/$ 1 compared to N1.547.36/$ 1 which is traded on Friday.

This is the loss of N1.18 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained N5 against dollars to trade at N1,600/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.605/$ 1.

Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2.160/£ 1.

The same local currency is closed with Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

It was closed flat against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
