Rep: Agada urges Agbese’s support

A grassroots leader from Orokam District 2, Hon. Eric Agada, has described the member representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Philip Agbese, as a long-awaited leader and divine answer to the generational prayer of the Enone people.

In a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday in Abuja, and personally signed by him, Agada said that for over two decades, the people of Oenone have been crying out for true representation, stressing that their cry has finally been answered with the appearance of Hon. Agbese.

“Countrymen, great people of Ogbadibo and all the good people of Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, history has taught us that in every generation, God does not leave his people without a leader,” Agada said.

According to him, the people cried because they had representation without presence and leaders who emerged only during elections, while other constituencies progressed and Oenone remained in political obscurity.

“But today our cry was answered. Almighty God, in his infinite mercy, has finally given us the leader we have been waiting for. A leader whose name is now synonymous with light, hope and uncommon effective representation.

“That leader is none other than the Pride of Oenone, Talk-and-Do Representative, Honorable Philip Agbese – Okanga K’ Ogbadibo,” he said.

Hon. Agada explained why Okanga is called the light of Oenone:

“We call it light because before Okanga no one heard Enone’s voice at the Green Chambers. Today, thanks to Okanga, Enone’s voice resonates and echoes throughout Nigeria.

“We call it the light because before Okanga, empowerment was a story told to deceive us during campaigns. Today, under Okanga, our youth are empowered, our women are supported, our students are given scholarships, our elderly mothers feel governed.”

Listing the qualities of the federal lawmaker, Agada said Agbese possesses vision, courage, compassion and ability to act for the people of Orokam, Owukpa, Otukpa, Ulayi, Ijigbam, Igumale, Agadagba and the entire Enone.

He warned against allowing detractors to extinguish the light that Oenone currently enjoys.

“Party comrades, men and women, this is not the time to play politics with our light. The darkness is always waiting and fighting to take over the light.”
