Chelsea defeated 10 Benfica people to reach the quarter -finals of the W’CUP club

Chelsea have advanced to the quarter -finals of the FIFA Club World Cup after defeating 10 players Benfica in the 16th round of the match which was delayed on Saturday night.

Both sides have struggled in the first half even though Chelsea dominated.

The Blues finally opened the score through James Recee’s free kick in the 64th minute. The game was then suspended in the 86th minute due to the weather.

After about two hours of waiting, the game began again and Angel Di Maria equalized to Benfica with a penalty to bring the game in extra time.

Two yellow cards in the 96th minute and the first minute of extra time seeing young people Gianluca Prestianni sent, the last for the challenge of being late for Levi Colwill.

Chelsea then took advantage of their numerical advantages well when they ran the hubbub again on the Portuguese side in the second half of extra time.

Goals from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto and Kernan Dewsbury-Hall in Charlotte, North Carolina finally saw Chelsea into the quarter-finals with a 4-1 win.

Chelsea will now face Palmieras in the last eight. Palmieras has defeated Botafogo 1-0 after extra time in the 16th round of the previous match that day.
