The Democratic Party of the Peoples (PDP) on Wednesday said that the sale of an expression of interest and appointment forms for the supplementary elections existing in 12 states on Thursday 3 July will begin.
The party, in a declaration of its secretary of national advertising, weak Ologunagba, in Abuja, said that the National Work Committee of the PDP (NWC) approved the calendar and the program of activities for the secondary elections.
Ologunagba said that pursuant to the approved calendar, the sale of modules will end on July 10 while the presentation of all forms would have been on 11 July.
He said that the members of the eligible and interested party party should obtain and return their modules completed at the National Secretariat of the PDP, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
“The NWC ensures all the party leaders, the interested parties and the teeming members of the PDP of a transparent and credible nomination while we mark towards the victory in the supplementary elections,” said Ologunagba.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INC) scheduled for August 16 for the carrying out of supplementary elections in being in 12 states.
The elections will be held in the Senatorial District of the South of Anambra and in the electoral college of the State of Northern Onitsha in Anambra, in the central senatorial district of Edo and in the Federal Electoral College Nord -est/South -South of Edo.
Others are the federal electoral college of Batura/Garki in Jigawa; CHIKUN/ KAJURU FEDERAL ENVIRONMENTS AND ZARIO/ KAWASAKI AND BASAWA ENLETTENCE IN THE KADUNA STATE; Compensation of the Shanamento/Bagwai state in the state of Kano; and state electoral college of Okura II in Kogi.
They are also electoral colleges of the state of Munya, state of the Niger; IKenne/Shagamu/Remo/North Federal Collegy, Ogun State; Federal collectality of the North Ibadan in Oyo, Karim Lamido 1 elegance of the state, Taraba and Kaura Namoda South State Enary in Zamfara. (Nan)
