The legislator of Borno praises the results of the development of the Governor Zulum

Mr Maigari Abare, the member who represents the Bayo electoral college in the Borno state assembly house, applauded the governor Babagana Umara Zulum for his significant steps in the development of the state of Borno.

In a declaration issued in Abuja and obtained by Blueprint, the Hon. Abare highlighted the impact of the Governor Zulum in the sectors of safety, infrastructure and the development of human capital.

He specifically praised the governor for the projects carried out in the local government area of ​​Bayo, including the construction of an ultra-modern council secretariat, the ultra-modern markets in the districts of Ballbaya and Fikayel and the renewal of the Biryhail General Hospital. He also recognized the supply of renewable solar energy in the local government secretariat.

Hon. Abare has praised continuous improvements in the health sector, such as the construction of additional department blocks in the eyewitches of Gwoza and Biu, as well as the building and renewal of primary health centers and dispenses in the limiting and Fikayel departments.

According to the legislator, Governor Zulum also gave priority to agriculture and trade through the distribution of input to farmers, quality water supply, the well drainage systems and the supply of transport structures in support of commercial and economic activities.

He also praised the efforts of the administration in the construction of common roads, dualizing the main roads of Maiduguri and building four overhanging bridges in the capital of the state – the developments he said has improved mobility and economic growth.

In the safety area, the Hon. Abare praised governor Zulum for providing safety equipment to the police and local vigilants, including the joint Civil Task Force (CJTF), in the fight against the insurgents of Boko Haram and Iswap, in particular in the northern Norno communities such as Mars, New Mars, Gwoza and Bama.

The legislator also praised the investments of the state government in the development of the workforce for young people and health, including the formation of doctors, nurses and midwives.

He highlighted the distribution of buses and commercial vehicles by the government to improve the transport of goods and people inside and outside the state – an initiative aimed at attracting investments and increasing economic activities.

Hon. Abare urged young people in the state to be respectful of the law, commit themselves to the acquisition of skills and entrepreneurship and serve as good ambassadors of Borno.

He described the leadership of the Governor Zulum as a visionary and aligned with the foundation of development thrown by the vice -president Kashim Shettimo during his time as a governor.

The legislator also invited other legislators and commissioners to align with the mission and vision of the governor for a more prosperous Borno.

He concluded by appreciating the construction of modern markets in Ballbaya and Fikayel and expressed support for the efforts of the Commission for the development of the North East (Nedc) in the reconstruction of the region.
