NDLEA recovers a checks of $ 17.7 million travelers in children’s books

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) declared Sunday that she had intercepted a total of 52 travelers hidden controls in children’s books worth $ 17.7 million.

The checks, according to a declaration issued by the spokesman for the Ndlea, Femi Babafemi, in Abuja, were on course for Malaysia through Istanbul on a flight of the Turkish airline.

Babafemi, however, said that the Ndlea agents intercepted the airport export controls on July 4th.

He stated that the interdiction operation, which took place at Lagos airport, led to the arrest of a freight transport agent in relation to the controls of intercepted travelers.

“Controlled travelers suspected of being counterfeit and the suspicion will soon be delivered to the Commission for economic and financial crimes (EFCC) for further investigations,” he said.

He said that on July 5, the Ndlea officers on the border seed recovered 718 large skunk balls weighing 359 kg from a shop in the Baba -Puppa area of ​​the border community.
The patrol agents along the Okene-Lokoja motorway have intercepted 10,000 plumadolo 225mg and co-Codamolo pills, as well as 1.050 kg of Colorado, a synthetic cannabis tension.

This, he said, led to the arrest of the owners of the drug shipments to the mockery of Jabi Park in Abuja during a follow-up operation.

Babafemi declared in another development in Osun, two suspicions were arrested in the Ajegunle area of ​​Osogbo on July 3 with 13,901 pills and ampoules of several opioids recovered by them.

He said that another suspicion was captured in a medical shop of patents in Arubido Street, Ile-Ife, with 48,205 opioid pills.

“A raid on a volcaniser seminar at the Kindeko Junction, in the area of ​​Alekuwodo of Osogbo, Tuesday 1 July, led to the arrest of three suspicions.

“They were arrested with 1,250 pentozocine injection ampoules, 850 tramadol pills and three bottles of codein -based syrup.”

The spokesman said the war against the abuse of drugs (Wada) and the social defense activities by the ndlea commands continued in the same way throughout the country in the last week.

“Some of them include: Wada awareness lesson delivered to the students and staff of the secondary school of the Queen of Angel, Mgbidi, Awgu, State Enugu, Divine Purpose College, Eyita, Ikorodu, Lagos.

“Others are Al-Furqan College, Kankia, Katsina and residents in the community of Gomari Binta Suga, Maiduguri, Borno Stato, among others.” [Vanguard]
