Former Ikechukwu minister Tinubu scores at the top of food safety initiatives

A former Minister of State for Science and Technology, Head Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, has applauded the initiatives of agriculture and food safety of President Ahmed Tinubu, urging the Nigerians to support his vision and efforts through positive actions and patriotic attitudes.

The former minister, in a document divided into the state of emergency of the president, issued in Blueprint, on Wednesday, described the resuscitation process of the sick economy of the nation undertaken by the Federal Government as “which requires practical steps by a brave leader such as President Bola Tinubu”.

The Ikechukwu garment said: “In his commitment for the emergency declaration on food safety and his determination on foreign direct investments (ide) with particular attention to agriculture, President Tinubu has achieved another milestone in the development of agricultural industries by attracting Brazilian investors to develop the viviglio and agriculture of the country.

“Currently away from Brazil, which houses Brics’ summit, has obtained the cooperation of the Brazilian government to collaborate with the Nigerian government in the development of the agriculture of the nation.”

The former minister described the agreement as a reference result, targeting large -scale food production, export and creation of jobs, underlining that efforts need the right attitude and support of all Nigerians.

Continuing, he added: “The policy and the agricultural program of Nigeria pursuant to this administration is a transformative agenda visible aimed at reducing the difficulties and costs of life.

“Based on the renewed mechanization program of Hope agriculture, President Bola Tiinubu has commissioned 50 Bulldozer, 12 fully equipped mobile seminars, 8000 agricultural equipment and 2,000 tractors to be distributed to farmers nationally for greater food and national food safety.

“To ensure the successful implementation of the directives of President Tinubu, the Ministry of Agriculture has established four key initiatives for the mechanization policy that includes John Deere’s program of tractors, the Grener Hope Project, the Green Imperative Program and the new 2000 tractors acquired by Bellirus.”

Ikechukwu, who is president of the Government Council, the Federal Polytechnic Nakede, a state of the soul, said that for Nigeria to achieve food security, our agricultural sector must have the utmost priority in a safe environment.

On the challenges placed to farmers from Boko Haram, kidding among others, he praised President Tinubu for the attention that was given to safe lives, properties and rural communities in which most of the agricultural activities take place.

“It is well known that no nation is without peculiar security challenges and that Nigeria is not excluded from experiences so loved. The president leaves nothing of intended in facing the myriads of security problems in Benue, Plateau, Kaduna, Borno, Zamfara and Sokotto States, which are mainly agricultural agricultural in food production in Nigeria,” he added.
