Renewed agenda of hope that provides opportunities, prosperity for the Nigerians – Idris

The minister of information and national orientation, Mohammed Idris, said that the agenda of renewed hope of President Tinubu is a practical framework for national transformation, based on real and measurable opportunities for prosperity in all sectors of the Nigerian economy.

A declaration on Thursday by the media assistants to the minister, Rabiu Ibrahim, revealed that he had declared on Thursday in Minna, in the state of the Niger, to the Commissioner Conference for information in the APC States, organized by the Progressive Governors Forum.

The minister underlined the global nature of the administration’s development album.

“The renewed agenda of hope goes beyond macroeconomic reforms,” said Idris. “It is a matter of creating concrete opportunities for prosperity between the sectors – for people, for families and for communities,” he said.

He explained that from enormous infrastructure investments to young people’s enhancement programs and reforms in agriculture, energy, education and innovation, the Tinubu administration is offering a large plan for inclusive growth and national renewal.

By highlighting the government’s reform efforts, the minister referred to the removal of the fuel subsidy as a movement of fundamental policy.

“One of the most daring and consequential decisions of this administration, which is the removal of the subsidy for fuel, was a painful but necessary reform. In addition to saving the economy from the tax collapse, this decision has significantly blocked the areas of losses and waste in our economy,” he said.

Idris has added that the earnings of such daring decisions are financing transformative infrastructure projects such as the Lagos-Calabar coastal SuperHighway, Sokoto-Badagry, the standard-kano-kano-kano-style gauge railway and the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano high-kado railway.

In addition, he said, there is a constant investment in the supply of social services in the country and a marked increase in monthly allocations to state governments, which is allowing them to undertake projects that already have transformative impacts between state and local sectors.

He has also revealed that over 900,000 small businesses have already benefited from the subsidy conditional conditional and conditional loan, while over 350,000 students are currently benefiting from the student loan regime, ensuring that no young Nigerian is left behind due to financial constraints.

Idris has declared that so far the Federal Government has committed about 70 billion in the student loan regime, with over 600,000 questions presented by students trying to benefit from the initiative.

The minister said that the creation of regional development commissions from the president throughout the country is aimed at guiding an integrated and specific development of the context in the six geopolitical areas of Nigeria.

He said that the Ajookuta-Kaduna Kano (Akk) gas pipeline is constantly progressing in order to offer power to skip the industrial revolution through the corridor.

“Once this is done, it will provide power from Ajakuta to Kaduna and Kano. It means that all the industries along that corridor will now be renewed,” he said.

Idris described the Tinubu administration as a government suitable for young people, detecting its inclusion of a significant number of young people in the Federal Executive Council as ministers, as well as in leadership positions in various government and parastal agencies.
