WTT reveals the Jolly characters for 2025 Lagos contender

Lagos continues to consolidate his reputation as an African table tennis tennis, attracting global attention to the annual WTT Lagos contender.

As the anticipation is based for this year’s tournament, scheduled from 22 to 26 July, the management of tennis of the world (WTT) has officially announced six Jolly voices, with players from Nigeria, Portugal, France and South Korea.

Among the extraordinary names there is the French teenage sensation Rémi Betuilu, semifinalist at the WTT feeder of 2025 Havirov. The young defender is destined to leave his mark in Lagos, with the aim of defending the glory at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium.

In the women’s singles category, Kim Nayeong of South Korea is the protagonist of the nominations for the guests. The nineteen year old, who reached the semifinals to the contender WTT Lagos 2023, returns with his eyes firmly set to capture his first WTT series title.

To join it I am yu of Portugal and Nigeria Aminat Fashola. He was, known for his style of lightning pen, he will try to dominate his opponents, while Fashola hopes to draw strength and inspiration from the passionate crowd of the house.

In the men’s singles, the Nigerian hopes Samuel Boboye and Taiwo Mati will pilrate the flag as candidates for Jolly guest. They will be joined by Romain Ruiz in France, a specialist in shooting at a film known for his dynamic game.

These Jolly voices promise to add even more excitement to an already constant range of stars, while Lagos is preparing to host another electrifying edition of the WTT Contender series.
