Appeals of the forum in Tinubu not to approve the removal of APC NWC …

The forum of the interested parties of all progressives appealed to President Bola Tinubu in order not to approve the removal of the members of the current national work committee (NWC) in front of the National Party Convention.

Dr. Maryam Danjaki, the National President of the Forum appealed in an open letter to Tinubu Tuesday in Abuja.

The forum said that the appeal was to guarantee the party’s stability before its agreement.

The Nigeria (NAN) news agency reports that the APC National Convention should hold the beginning of 2026.

“With a profound respect and patriotic concern, we write to praise your leadership and to share our candid opinions on vital issues for the unity and progress of our large party.

“Like Lealisti of the committed party who have worked at all levels to support the values and vision of the APC.

“We feel forced to humbly recommend against any sudden alteration or removal of the members of the current APC NWC before his next national convention.

“In this critical phase of your administration and in the life of the party, any remediation or tampering of the current leadership can turn on internal disorders,” said Danjaki.

He added that such a move would also weaken the cohesion of the party and would have given the room the political opportunists and the cancellants of power to exploit the situation to the detriment of the party.

According to her, the current NWC of the party has shown significant stability and continuity.

He expressed optimism that by allowing its members to the Convention, he would have strengthened internal trust and give the administration led by Tinubu the support necessary to deliver his renewed program of hope without distractions.

He stressed that this was not a time for division or uncertainty, but a time for consolidation, harmony and concentration in governance and within the party structure.

Danjaki also appealed to President Tinubu as the father of the APC and a symbol of the unit, to allow the current NWC leadership to continue his role until his next convention.

He added that if necessary, the changes could be tackled democratically and strategically.

He said that the forum remained stationary in his support for the administration led by Tinubu and would have continued to support a stable, inclusive and forward -looking part.

He asked God to grant Tinubu continuous strength and wisdom while led the nation to size.

He sentenced with the APC family and the entire nation on the disappearance of the former president Muhammadu Buhari.

He described the deceased Buhari as a statesman whose disciplined leadership, integrity and patriotism laid the foundations on which the APC turned into a national force.

The national president of the forum added that the legacy of the former president would remain a guide light for the generations to come.
