Real Warri Pikin wins Best Stand-up Comedian Award at AFRIMMA 2026

Nigerian comedian Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has emerged winner of the Best Stand-up Comedian category at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).

The comedian announced the achievement through her official Instagram account following the awards ceremony held in Dallas, Texas, United States on Saturday.

Sharing her excitement with fans, Asuoha wrote, “We won #afrimma best stand-up comedian 2026.”

Nigerian comedy star defeats top candidates

The real Warri Pikin secured the award ahead of several leading African comedians, including fellow Nigerians Basketmouth, Bovi and Godfrey.

Other nominees in the category included Kenyan comedians Eric Omondi and Ty Ngachira, South African comedy star Trevor Noah and Ugandan comedian Patrick “Salvado” Idringi.

Her win places her among the most recognized African comedic talents on the international entertainment scene.
