While Nigeria approaches the general elections of 2027, the aspiring presidential Abayomi Mighty has made national security the cornerstone of its campaign, committing radical reforms to put an end to what described as a “catastrophic humanitarian crisis” that afflicts the country.
Speaking to a briefing printing in Abuja on Saturday, Abayomi Mighty described security as a “sacred and non -negotiable duty”, promising that, if elected, his administration would act “definitely, with compassion and strategy”.
“The first duty of any government is to protect lives and properties. My administration will not deal with the blood of the Nigerians as simple statistics,” he said.
Abayomi Mighty has revealed a security agenda on several fronts that combined an advanced collection of intelligence, revised military operations and socio-economic interventions aimed at dismantling terrorism, bandits and organized crime.
His security project includes the delivery of rapid tracking justice, the modernization of national security infrastructures and the involvement of global defense experts.
He has also committed himself to exploiting the experience of Nigerian technologists and engineers who work abroad in the defense sector to develop local solutions.
“Our engineers are creators in the global arenas. I will exploit their brilliance to create a tailor -made security architecture for the unique realities of Nigeria,” he said.
Abayomi Mighty has also condemned “indiscriminate appointments and fleeting political alliances” under the current administration, insisting on the fact that the appointments within the security architecture must be based on “merit, purpose and responsibility”.
Giving himself to the Nigerians – in particular those in the northern regions markets – gentlemen required unity and resilience, promising a leadership that would restore dignity, peace and prosperity.
“We will not allow Nigeria to remain a nation in which fear thrives. Under my guide, security will no longer be a rethinking: it will be the foundation of national progress,” he said.
