Police arrested the Director of FCTA for alleged land grabbing

The police operative has arrested Joseph Eriki, Director of Investigation and Prosecution in the Federal Capital Administration (FCTA), on charges of land grabbing.

Eriki was arrested along with Boniface Agwu and is currently detained until his indictment for criminal conspiracy, criminal violations, and counterfeiting.

Another suspect is said to be free

Eriki and Agwu were charged with the police together with Ikechukwu Kanu, Donatec Electrical Company Limited, Super Structure Limited, Weatherfield Engineering, Marine Service Limited, Asher Information Services, Prince Isaac Omoluwa, Nwaimoneye Augustine Onyisi and Sarajo Aliyu, and Ogbole Michael.

They are allegedly illegally entering plot 461-470 and 486-496 owned by Etha Ventures and put on a structure that intends to deceive Etha Ventures.

“To actualize their intentions, the defendants cheat received an approval assessment in the number of FCT/HC/CV/240/2018 lawsuit, remembering the title of plot 1406 (461-470 and 486-496) Sabon Lugbe East Layout, Abuja to Super Structures Limited,” the outbreak was stated.

Judge Suleiman Belgore from the FCT High Court, Garki, on May 27 issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the defendants so that they could appear in court on their charges on the accusations of nine calculations of alleged land grabbing.

The prosecution advisor, David Kaswe, had told the court that the defendants made administrative guarantees.
