Two of the most successful female basketball teams in the continent, Senegal and Nigeria will meet today in a great success, in one of the two Afrobasket semifinals this year.
The tournament is now due to the four best teams, while today’s meeting will be the last episode in the explosive confrontation between both powers of African basketball.
Senegal is the most successful female basketball team in the continent with 11 titles, but Nigeria D’Tigress is the most dominant team during the last ten years, after having won the last four editions of the tournament since 2017.
