The police warned a very good person of violations of peace in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has warned the social media influencer Martins Otse, aka Verydarkman, so as not to cause violations of peace in the state.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Tochukwu Ikenga, made a call in a statement on Tuesday at Awka.

Otse has planned a candle light procession to respect the late former Director of the Fish Magnet Outlet, Mr. IFESINACHI ONGERE.

Onkeikere was kidnapped and killed newly by the suspect of armed people in Awka, the Capital of the State.

Otse said the event was intended to attract the attention of the federal and state governments to the security situation in Anambra.

The spokesman said: “Police Commissioner in Anambra, Ikioye Orutugu, has issued a stern warning to the social media influencer Mr. Martins Vincent Otse, who is known as a very dark person, to make statements or take action that is able to incite tension or violate public peace in the country.

“The family of the deceased onkeikere has openly separated from the proposed or sustainable candle procession or a warning meeting regulated in his name.

“The family asks to be allowed to grieve personally, while trusting the authorities to do their work to lure the suspects behind cowardly actions.”

He stressed that the state remains one of the most peaceful in the region, because of the continuing efforts of the police and other security institutions against criminals in the state.
