Naira depreciated the dollar in the official window, the black market

Nigerian currency, Naira, continues to depreciate the US dollar in an official window on Wednesday.

Central Bank Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data. It was reported that Naira was closed on N1, 534.43/$ 1 compared to N1, 533.10/$ 1 which was traded on Monday.

This is the loss of N1.33 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded in N1.570/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.565/$ 1.

Local currencies also lost N5 to British pounds to be traded at N2.120/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.115/£ 1.

However, it continues to close flat to the Canadian dollar to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira lost N5 to Euro to trade in ₦ 1,795/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
