He Nigeria Scrabble Federation (NSF)He has appointed Sufyan Olojoku as captain of the Nigerian team to the Panfrican Youth Scrabble Championship, in Kenya.
NSF announced this in a statement signed by its spokesman Maxwell Kumoye, on Friday, in Lagos.

The statement establishes that Suffyan Olojoku was selected to direct the team due to his quiet disposition, experience and his friendship with other members of the Nigeria team.
Sufyan Olojoku, has been representing Kwara since 2021, winning a silver medal in Nyg 2021, 2 gold and a silver in 2023 and has represented Nigeria in a World Crabble Juvenile championship in 2024 and the championship of scribble Africans ending the fifth in the registry.
He is currently looking for admission in Kwasu to study medical laboratory sciences this year after finishing the Government Day Secondary School, Adewole in 2021.
Sufyan Olojoku, who was in the last World Youth Scrabble Championship in Sri Lanka, last year will compete in the U-19 category in the Panfrican Scrabble Championship.
The team of the Ten Men of Nigeria will go to the competition on Monday aboard Lagos Airline.
Four of the players are sponsored by the Kwara state government, two other players are aimed at Nairobi on the bill of the state of Bayelsa, while Lagos, Edo, Niger and the state of Akwa Ibom are sponsoring one player each.

The Youth Scrabble Championship in Africa (Aysc) is a continental competition for young Scrabble enthusiasts, organized by the Panfricana Scabble Association (PANASA).
The second edition takes place in Kenya from August 14 to 17, 2025, at the Brighton International School in Syokimau, Machakos County.
The championship will have two categories: under 15 years of age and under 19, with 150 players from 11 countries that are expected to participate.
The African Youth Scrabble Championship 2023 was held in Lagos, Nigeria, from August 24 to 28, at the Chrisland School, Lekki.
He presented two categories: under 15 years of age and under 19, with participants from Nigeria, Kenia, Liberia, Ghana and Uganda.
Two Nigerian players, David Ojih and Prestige Archibong, won the U-19 and U-15 titles respectively.
