Naira spilled N1.17 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, was further depreciated by the US dollar in an official window on Tuesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 537.09/$ 1 compared to N1, 535.92/$ 1 which is traded on Monday.

This is the loss of N1.17 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded in N1.555/$ 1.

Local currencies lost N10 to British pounds to be traded at N2.110/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.100/£ 1.

It continues to close flat to the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira lost N5 to Euro to trade in ₦ 1,790/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,785/€ 1.
