Ukraine: Trump, Putin meet in Alaska for high -level interviews

The President of the United States Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Alaska for a high -profile meeting aimed at blocking a ceased in the Ukraine war.

Both leaders landed almost simultaneously at the Elmendorf-Richardson joint base in Anchorage on Friday.

They exchanged smiles and handshakes on the asphalt before walking for a red carpet to pose for the photographs, then they left together in Trump’s presidential limousine.

Speaking before the meeting, Trump said that there was nothing “to put in the stone” as regards a potential agreement and admitted that the success was uncertain. He warned that he would be “not happy” if Russia refused to collaborate to end the conflict.
