Nigeria’s men’s basketball team, D’Inmers, has come out of FIBA Afrobasket this year after losing to Senegal in the quarter -finals on Wednesday night.
Brutal Senegal against Nigerians, who suffered defeat 91-75 against Lions to get out of the tournament.
D’E Inmers had started their campaign with a victory over Madagascar before defeating defending champions Tunisia, and made him three wins in three by looking from Cameroon.
They entered the quartefinal contest behind the perfect group stage performance, but could not succeed against Senegal who had recorded losses in the group stage.

The Lions have chosen the quarter -finals from victory against South Sudan in a qualifying match.
In the last eight meetings, D’Mrers took the first quarter with 24-23 before Senegal appeared at the peak in the second and third quarters, 39-18 and 23-13 respectively.
D’Mrers won the fourth quarter of 20-15 but it was not enough because Senegal had done quite a lot for scale to semifinals.
Nigeria continues to wait for the first Fiba men’s Afrobasket degree since 2015.
