Naira depreciated by N1.80 to the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, was further depreciated by the US dollar in an official window on Wednesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 536.73/$ 1 compared to N1, 534.93/$ 1 which is traded on Tuesday.

This is the loss of N1.80 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded in N1.545/$ 1.

However, the loss of N10 to the British pound to trade at N2.110/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.100/£ 1.

Local currencies continue to close flatly against Canadian dollars to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira lost N5 to Euro to trade in ₦ 1,795/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
