Kwara United vs Kun Khalifa: Tunde Sani Eyes First League Win

Kwara United Gaffer, Tunde Sanni is optimistic that her team would deliver the maximum points when facing the debutants Kun Khalifa FC in her first clash of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Sunday, in Ilorin.

Speaking at the press conference prior to the match on Saturday at the Taiwo Awoniyi Media Center, Coach Sanni expressed confidence in the preparation and sharpness of his team before the crucial link.

“We want to make the Kwaranos happy ensuring maximum points. Aimufua Junior and others who have not appeared this season are ready for the national team, while Akanni Akeem and Jimoh Gbadamosi will sit.

The coach emphasized the importance of developing impulse at the beginning of the season.

“We want to start winning our games before the continental games arrive. That winning race begins on Sunday against Kun Khalifa,” he said.

The Captain of the Afeez Musa Olororo team also assured supporters of a strong action, promising that the energy and commitment shown in the training during the week would replicate in the field.

The match will take place in the main bowl of Rashidi Yekini of the George Innih Stadium complex, Ilorin, with the start scheduled for 4:00 pm
