The Kogi State Police Command confirmed the killing of three of his officers from armed men to an EGBE checkpoint, a community that shares a border with the state of Kwara.

The head of the public reports of the State Police of Kogi (PPRO), SP William Ovye, who confirmed the accident to arise news, observed that it happened in the early hours of Wednesday.

Aya said that the police commissioner of the state of Kogi, Miller Dantawaye, sided a police tactical team in the area, adding that they were in the wake of armed men.

“I can confirm that three officers in service were killed today in Egbe, a border community with the state of Kwara.
