Each of my Premier League goals will be noticed, says Wolves New Boy Aroukodare

Tolu Arokodare has said that he had to score eight goals in the Belgian League before receiving his first Super Eagles call, but each one will notice every time he scores in the Premier League.

The great striker has made the great transfer to the wolves in the Premier League after his most prolific season in Europe with Genk last season.

“This was the step I had to give. Especially with the national team in mind. In Belgium, I had to score eight times to have the opportunity to be called, while in the Premier League, each goal will be noticed,” said Arokodare, who was the winner of the Super Eagles match against Rwanda last week.

He admitted that he felt a bit frustrated because he had to do it until the day of the transfer deadline before he could complete his move to England.

“Honestly, I’m not really concentrated in that record rate. But it’s good for Genk and I’m happy, so … it took a long time this summer, but in the end, everything worked,” he said. HLN

“Did he become frustrating at some point? Yes, but as a professional footballer, you should be able to deal with that.

“My family and friends made sure that I kept calm and never panicked.”

Despite the frustrations at the end, he will look with love to KRC Genk. “I have so many wonderful memories of Genk. I made friends there that they have become a family. And I’m going to miss fans,” he said.
