UCL: Bayern Thrash Chelsea as Liverpool defeated Atletico in a five goal thriller

Bayern Munich beat Chelsea 3-1 in the opening match of the UEFA Champions League at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

British striker Harry Kane scored two goals in the match while Michael Olise also shined for Bayern. Cole Palmer is a goal scorer for Chelsea.

At Anfield, Liverpool struggled hard in the five-goal thriller to beat Atletico Madrid 3-2.

Marcos Llorente scored for the visitors while Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson, and Virgil Van Dijk all scored goals for the host.

In Paris, PSG struggled Atalanta 4-0. In the Netherlands, Ajax failed to score because they lost 2-0 to Inter Milan in Italy.

In another Champions League match played on Wednesday, Slavia Prague and Bodo/Glimt played 2-2 while Olympiacos was held with a goalless draw by PAFO.
