
Laven Denty Jacob, the legislator who represents Pankshin in the south in the house of assembly of the State of the Plateau, has regained his freedom days after being kidnapped by his residence in Jos.
Confirm the development of Wednesday, president of the Chamber Information Committee, Hon. Kwarpo Sylvanus said Jacob reached his meeting safely.
“It has been successfully released, but we still have to ascertain whether any redemption has been given or paid. Everything we know is that it was released last night,” said Sylvanus.
He observed that the legislator was healthy on his return, while the rapid response of the security agencies and interested citizens praised.
Sylvanus has also urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities in their communities, adding that legislators would continue to push for stronger laws to strengthen safety in the state.
He also suggested the establishment of supervisory groups to integrate formal security efforts.
