El-Kanemi Warriors have advanced to the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup despite suffering a 1-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau’s UDIB in the second leg of the preliminary round in Bissau on Sunday night.
The Maiduguri-based club advanced 3-1 on aggregate after claiming a convincing 3-0 victory in the first leg at home.
El-Kanemi now faces a tougher test against Moroccan giant Raja Casablanca in the next round.

The first leg is scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars sports complex in Ikenne between October 16 and 18.
El Raja will host the return match in Casablanca between October 23 and 25.
The winner of both matches will secure a place in the lucrative group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
