Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, on Friday charged a cadet of a commission graduate to uphold integrity, courage, and professionalism when they joined the state struggle against economic and financial crimes.
Olukoyede gave an accusation of the fainting parade of 404 course inspective detectives 10 and detective courses Inspector seven, at Nigeria Police Mobile Training College, Ende Hill, Akwanga, Nasarawa state.
He said working with EFCC came with heavy responsibilities and demanded absolute personal discipline and accountability.
The chairman, who said the commission had no tolerance for corruption and compromise, warned graduates that sanctions and steps for corruption by the commission officials were rigid.
He requested new and old officers to always control the nation, internalize the core values of integrity, courage, professionalism, and collaboration of EFCC, and be prepared to get rid of the practices of the state of corruption.
Olukoyede said: “In carrying out your legal duties, you will always find a scary challenge. However, always remember that the challenge is intended to bake you and not destroy you.
“You must not allow difficulty to compromise the nucleus values of the commission. Nigeria has the right to expect a lot from EFCC. We cannot disappoint them.”
The chairman praised the success of a strict training, noting that the commission had been inventing massively to produce officers who were “formed and based on healthy intelligence, physical agility, bold component, and responsible behavior.”

“It is often said that he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. There is nothing more correct than this.
“You cannot offer what nation you don’t have. Anti-corruption officers must be on the board at any time,” he said.
Olukoyede praised the President of the Tinubu Bola for “his unfinished support” and because he offered a commission of freedom to do his work without interference.
He also acknowledged the support of the Police Inspector General, Egbetokun Kayode, especially the use of training sites, synergy evidence and eternal cooperation between security agents.
