Peter Obi Increases Alarm for Misuse of His Image in Online Ad

The former presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Peter Obi, has warned of the use of his unauthorized photo, including images produced by AI, in digital advertisements and product promotions.

In a statement shared through its official X grip on Saturday, Obi revealed that some individuals and organizations have been illegally using their similarities to support various products, some of which are then bound to fraud.

“Usually, I will be happy to support sincere efforts by Nigerians who contribute positively to our nation and the people involved, but not without authorization,” former Governor of the State Anambra recorded.

He explained that although there was repeated clarification of his media team, the trend had survived, with “people who were immoral” exploiting invalid promotions to deceive members of the unpurrent’s.

Obi stressed that he had no affiliation with such advertisements, emphasized: “I am not related to this ad. Because it has forced me to once again warn the public to vigilance and ignore such advertisements that connect me with products, support, or business schemes.”
